Accessing databases remotely Print

  • 0

In order to log in and access your databases remotely (e.g; via Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio or MySQL Workbench) we need to tell our firewalls to accept incoming connections from your IP address by whitelisting it.

Please note that we only allow static IP addresses to connect to our servers remotely. If your ISP gives you a dynamic IP address (e.g; one that changes when your router gets turned off and on) we're unable to add your IP address to the firewall lists.

In order to get your IP whitelisted, please create a support ticket with us and include the following information in the ticket:

IP address:
ISP:

If you have any issues then please raise a support ticket via your Client Management Portal.
