This guide walks you through adding your mailbox to the Gmail app on any modern Android tablet. It uses secure IMAP and SMTP settings with full SSL/TLS encryption.
1. Open Gmail and Add Your Account
- Open the Gmail app.
- Tap your profile icon in the top‑right corner.
- Choose Add another account.
- Select Other.
2. Enter Your Email Address
- Type your full email address (example:
name@customerdomain.co.uk). - Tap Next.
- Choose Personal (IMAP).
3. Enter Your Password
- Type your mailbox password.
