Configuring Spam Filtering for your Email Account (cPanel/WHM)

To access the spam filtering settings, first log in to your Control Panel via the Client Management Portal.

Login to cPanel

Once logged in, you will need to select the 'Apache SpamAssassin' option which can be found under the 'Mail' heading.

Default Settings

By default SpamAssassin is disabled, and so no email will be deleted.

Tip: If you are experiencing missing email, try disabling SpamAssassin temporarily for a couple of days and see if you get an increased volume of email.

Here are the default settings for SpamAssassin

We recommend against decreasing the 'score' setting as doing so will increase the liklihood of legitimate email being deleted.

If after disabling the Auto-Delete you are still experiencing problems receiving email, then please raise a ticket via your Client Management Portal.
