Have you ever tried to send a client some files but be unable to send the email because the attachments made it the email too big? Unfortunately an industry standard 25MB limit applies to emails (although some companies, ourselves included, allow up-to 50MB emails!), but customers on our SmarterMail platform are now able to connect external Cloud storage providers such as Google Drive, OneDrive, and Dropbox meaning you can fetch files uploaded or saved in the cloud and bypass the storage limit.

To do this, log into webmail using this link and then click More > Settings

Then, click Connectivity (1) in the sidebar on the left and then under Cloud Storage Connections, click New Connection (2)

Select the cloud storage service you wish to connect and log into your account:

Then click Save and add the new Cloud Storage Connection.

Now, when you send an email you will be able to click the 3 dot icon and Link file

Click the icon for your cloud service:

Then navigate to the file or files and insert the links into the email and click Link. You can repeat this process as many times as you need to add as many links as you need to

Hello,
Please find the image attached.
Best regards,

When you send the email, the recipient will get a link that takes them to the file(s) you have uploaded:
