Do I need all these new domain extensions?

We’re being asked a lot at the moment about the new TLDs (Top Level Domains) that keep being released, and whether you need to register them?

A few years ago .host didn’t exist, but we snapped it up and even named our company smallbusiness.host because it tells you instantly precisely what we do. We still have several other domains including .co.uks & .coms, but .host was a natural fit for our company.

So should you bother?

It depends on what you’re doing, and how good a fit your current domain is for your business or audience.  If someone is looking for a photographer, what could be better than a mybiz.photography domain, or if I’m an electrician in London how about electricalexperts.london. It really depends on your market, and as always with domains, finding the right domain for you.
